Students

As graduation approaches, the “real world” is becoming more and more real.  The university life you have grown accustomed to during your academic career is just the beginning of an entire new professional beginning.  Many college students fear finding the right career after college.  Students need to expand their networking circles and educational experiences in order to increase their chances of finding the right employer.  GEP Professional Study Tours™ can help!

A GEP Professional Study Tours™ consist of visiting companies and participating in professional presentations from top executives and/or managers, question and answer sessions, tours of the company’s facilities and networking sessions with peers and business executives from various industries.  This allows you to acquire such knowledge as: the company history, operational structure, company direction, new product development, current trends, research and development, the manufacturing process, distribution process, career opportunities, etc. One of the most valuable aspects of this program is the question and answer sessions. Often, students learn best through direct communication. This will give you the ideal chance to ask questions that we would not be able to ask in the classroom.  Furthermore, our PST gives you the opportunity to directly network and interact with business executives and allows you to market yourself face-to-face versus your peers who fully depend on the performance of their resumes.

Not only will GEP’s PST give you the networking opportunity with business professionals, but it will also expose you to the international and domestic business operations in multiple industry sectors.  Depending on the PST program you participate in, the learning experience will place you ahead of other college graduates in the same field.  In today’s highly competitive job market, recent graduates need to demonstrate greater business understanding in order to be proven more attractive to potential employers.  GEP tours are a valuable addition to your real world professional experience portfolio.  Please contact us for more information.
